Download or request restaurant data exports
Console: Settings → Business settings → Exports. For an authorised owner or
master-role operator. The page's access result determines whether you can
Download export or Request export. A manager role name alone does not
grant export access. Do not change your role or use another person's account to
obtain a download.
Exports concern the selected business, including its relevant locations. They
can contain guest contacts, private notes and financial records. Check the
business and intended recipient before building or sharing a file.
Choose the export
| Export | Contains or selects |
|---|
| Marketing | Campaigns, automations, segments and tags; available independently of Marketing being on |
| Orders | Completed orders in the selected UTC completion-date range, totals and known customer information |
| Reservations | Reservations in the selected UTC arrival-date range, guest details, service context, payment outcomes and linked POS spend |
| Reservation payments | Successful deposit/cancellation-fee movements by transaction date, with gross/refund/net and reservation context |
| Members | Business member contacts, tags, consent, lifetime value and visit history |
Marketing and Members are not narrowed by the date pickers used for operational
exports. Check every returned file's contents rather than assuming a card
produces one CSV or only the current location.
Build and download
- Confirm the selected business and export type. For a dated export, set the
displayed date range, UTC, including the intended start and end day.
- Select Download export. It prepares the result; it does not itself save
every returned file to your computer.
- Review file names, row counts and any Capped notice.
- Select Download separately for each file you need. Check that the browser
saved each file successfully; one saved CSV is not proof all files arrived.
- Open the files in the restaurant's approved workspace and verify headers,
dates, business/location scope and representative records before use.
Use Rebuild export when you deliberately need a refreshed result after
changing the selection or underlying records. Keep the selected range with the
file; a filename or download time alone is not enough to explain its scope.
Understand dates and completeness
The selected end day is included, and date-range boundaries are UTC. A local
restaurant service day can differ from a UTC day. Reservation serviceDate and
local reporting dates are separate from UTC timestamp columns. Read the column
basis before comparing with a daily report or interpreting records near
midnight. Do not treat these exports as bank settlement or a verified accounting
return without the responsible review.
Capped means the file is partial. Compare the displayed rows with total rows
and the stated cap. Ask TablePort support for the remaining data through an
authorised channel; do not describe a capped file as a complete backup. There
is nothing to export for this selection yet needs a business/date/type check
and differs from a failed build.
Request mode or a failed build
Request export sends a request for the specified type/range. We'll prepare
this and be in touch is not a delivered file or a promise that downloading is
already enabled. Keep the request details and wait for the supported response.
After an uncertain request, check with support before sending it repeatedly.
If access or the export could not load, use the offered retry and preserve the
selection. An error is not an empty dataset. If download permission is missing,
follow the request/support path rather than guessing another endpoint.
Handle exported records carefully
Share only the files and fields needed by an authorised recipient using the
restaurant's approved channel. Preserve guest consent and opt-outs when moving
contacts; exporting Members does not authorise a new marketing campaign. Do not
attach raw CSVs to public tickets, include them in docs screenshots, or paste
whole datasets into an assistant conversation. The restaurant export interface
is separate from the agent tool contract.
Escalate with business, export type, UTC range, file/row count, cap notice,
request/download state and exact error. Keep personal records and payment
references within authorised support channels.
