Refer another restaurant and review credit
Console: Settings → Business settings → Plans & billing → Refer & Earn. For
the restaurant owner or manager with access to the business's billing view.
Older referral links open this billing tab. Confirm the business before sharing
its code or reviewing credit.
This is the restaurant referral programme. Partner administration and commission
workflows are separate; do not infer partner access from a restaurant account.
Read the current offer
Review the displayed reward, qualifying card-payment volume, required time,
annual cap and applicable credit terms before making a promise to another owner.
Offers can differ; an old screenshot or prefilled message is not proof of the
terms that apply to a particular referral.
The benefit is TablePort credit. A referral signup, eligibility estimate or
activity entry is not a cash payment or proof that an invoice has already been
reduced. Check the actual billing credit and its
application separately.
Get and share the business link
- Read Your referral code and its link. If none is available, use
Generate my link and wait for the result.
- Select Share. Choose the supported share channel, copy the link, or show
the referral QR to the intended restaurant owner.
- Review the destination and prefilled wording against the current offer before
sending. If the terms disagree, have support clarify them rather than
promising the larger benefit.
- Complete the sharing action yourself. Opening a share dialog, copying a link
or cancelling the device share sheet is not proof a message was sent or a
restaurant signed up.
- Have the referred owner use the intended link through their normal signup
flow. Do not collect their password, verification codes or billing details.
A referral share link is intended for sharing; it is different from a private
staff device login QR or signing secret. Share only the referral link and the
information needed for the introduction.
After an uncertain generation result, reopen the same business's referral tab
before repeating it. Preserve a known link rather than inventing or editing its
code. Couldn't load your referral link needs the offered retry; it is not
proof that existing referrals or earnings were removed.
Interpret activity and credit
| State shown | What to verify |
|---|
| Signed up | Attribution exists; qualification and credit still need checking |
| In trial | The referred restaurant is in its trial; this is not settled credit |
| Earned | Qualification is recorded; inspect the credit and subsequent application |
| Settled | Credit settlement is recorded; compare the business's billing record |
| Reversed | Read the recorded reason and preserve the original history for review |
| Blocked | Have the authorised owner/support team investigate; do not create a replacement business or attribution |
Earned this year, Annual cap, Friends referred, and the
qualified/trial breakdown describe different things. Activity shows a recent set
of entries; do not assume the displayed list is every historical referral or
that a count is a usable credit balance. Review the relevant billing record and
support history when the result is incomplete or disputed.
A referring code was missed at signup
Where offered, the new business can use the Did a TablePort customer refer
you? banner to submit the actual referrer's code. Review the result: it goes
for verification and approval, not instant qualification or immediate credit.
Dismiss hides the banner; it does not record attribution or cancel a
previously saved referral.
Do not repeatedly submit different codes or recreate an account to change the
outcome. After an uncertain submission, preserve the business and actual
referrer's details and ask support to check the existing request.
Resolve a missing or disputed reward
Check the business, actual shared/referring link, signup/trial state, applicable
offer, qualification result, cap, reversals and billing credit. Do not take a
separate payment, change an invoice or apply another discount merely to make a
referral amount appear.
Escalate with the relevant businesses, referral reference, approximate dates,
shown state, intended offer and exact error through an authorised channel. Keep
account details, payment records and unrelated personal information out of
public captures.
