Item Modifiers
To add a modifier click on the "+ Add Item Modifiers" in the top right of the page. We have two options of item modifiers, the selective or the verbal options, and we are going to explain both.

In the selective item modifier, you can add different options that your client can choose between. For example, You might want to sell a big coffee or a small one, so you add the two options, and your customer is going to select one of them.
Fill in the required information to create a "Selective Item modifier."
Name: The name of the modification.
Display name: The name that will appear on the menu.
Description: You should set a small explanation of each modification that is going to appear in the index of the menu in regards to sizing and additions.
Minimum amount: the smallest amount of modifications selected that they will be allowed to continue with for that item. Usually will be set at 1
Maximum amount: How many options your client will be able to choose. For example, your restaurant's customers can choose between a big or small coffee, so in this case it should be 1 because they can't select both options.
you can also select if your staff is the only one available to make changes in this item modifier as well as force print default selected option on prep instructions.
Enabled order types: Add how your costumers will be abled to order this item modifier. Enable all by keeping the slider or individually "click" seating, pickup, delivery, stand, or self-service kiosk. Just activate the ones that correspond to each item.
When you finish those steps, click "+" next to Item modifiers, and follow these instructions!
Name: The name of the selective option.
Display name: The name that your clients will see.
Description: The explanation of each modification.
Price: The price of the item once is modified.

In the verbal item modifier, you can add the different ingredients that each dish has, and your clients can choose if they want with, without, extra, less, or by the side. For example, you might want to sell a salad that comes with bread by the side, and your consumer can choose without the bread, or add an extra one.
Fill in the required information:
Name: Fill the name of the item that you are going to modify.
Display name: The name of the Item
Description: Add a brief explanation of the ingredients within the dish and what you can change.
You can choose if the operator is the only one that can make those changes or if you want to force print default selected option on prep instructions.
Once you filled in that information, we can continue creating the modifications that your plates are going to have. click in the "+" sign next to Item Modifiers to continue.
Name: Add the name of the ingredient that your client can make changes to.
Display name: The Ingredient that is going to appear on the menu.
Description: Write a small explanation about the modification.
Then there will be five options on the bottom for preparation instruction that the customer can choose from.

After explaining the difference between those types, feel free to click the "+" icon on the top corner and select which type of modification you want to add.
You can add multiple modifiers from any type, and reuse between multiple products.
Now that we have created the items and the modifiers, it is time to create the menu!
