Reservations

To access the reservations management page, navigate to the back office of TablePort OS, select "Locations," choose your desired location, and then select "Reservations."

Here are the options available on the reservations management page:

  1. Activated: This toggle switch allows you to enable or disable the reservation system for your restaurant. When the toggle switch is set to "on," reservations are enabled, and when it is set to "off," reservations are disabled.

  2. Default Booked Minutes: This setting allows you to set the default amount of time a table is booked for when a customer makes a reservation.

  3. Slots Interval: This setting allows you to set the interval between reservations, ensuring that there is sufficient time between bookings to prepare the table for the next guests.

  4. Authorized Amount On Booking: In beta, please consult with TablePort to activate that feature! This setting allows you to set the authorized amount that can be charged to a customer's card when they make a reservation, and to charge it in case of a show or late cancellation by your location cancellation policy.

  5. Max Days In Advance: This setting allows you to set the maximum number of days in advance that customers can make a reservation.

  6. Max Guests Per Booking: This setting allows you to set the maximum number of guests that can be accommodated in a single reservation.

  7. Open Reservations Page: This link takes you to the public-facing reservations page for your restaurant, where customers can make reservations.

By utilizing these options, you can effectively manage your restaurant's reservations and provide a seamless experience for your customers.
