Setup Printers

To link thermal printers please follow those steps.

Click on the "locations" tab in your management sidebar, there you will see a Printers tab. Here you will be abled to connect your printers to the site to have a fully integrated branch.

First, make sure that the printer is connected to your network.

If you have a LAN printer, ensure LAN cable is connected to your switch/router.

And if you have a WIRELESS one, ensure the printer is online.

When completing this step, turn off the printer and wait at least three seconds. So you can press the FEED button, and while pressing, turn on the printer and release the button after three seconds, then a test slip will be printed. If not, try to wait a few seconds or repeat the process.

Example of thermal printer test ouput. Mind the marked row to find printer IP address.

On that slip, you will have an IP address on top, write it down, it will be important later!

Now that we completed all those steps, we can add all the printers in the restaurant by clicking "+ ADD PRINTERS" and filling the required information.

Name: name of the printer

Printer type: Choose the option "ESCPOS thermal printer"

Printer connection method: Choose "Network Printer"option

Printer Address (IP): the same printer IP address we explained where to find earlier.

  • Do you want to beep on while printing? Just click this option

  • Is the cash drawer connected to this printer? And do you want to auto-open the cash drawer on new cash transactions? You can also click those options!

  • Do you want to auto-print a new document, as an operator watching order?

If you choose any of these three last options, it will do automatically every time that an order is sent to the printer.
