# Preview search metadata

**Console: Marketing → Website → Search optimisation.** The current panel
explicitly says **SEO metadata saving is coming soon** and **Nothing here is
saved yet**. Treat it as a preview, not a publication control.

Enter a proposed **Page title**, **Meta description**, and optional **Primary
keyword** to inspect **How it reads in search**. The displayed length guidance
helps review wording; it is not a guarantee of a search engine's displayed
result or ranking. Leaving this panel does not save those entries.

The website page editor separately has **Browser tab title** for a page. Use its
supported save/publish flow and inspect the actual published page. Do not claim
the preview panel's title or description was published because its preview
updated as you typed.

Keep reviewed draft wording in the restaurant's approved working notes until a
supported metadata-saving workflow is available. Do not invent a Save button or
use private endpoints to bypass the current limitation.

For guest navigation and live publication use
[Website editing](/website/edit-and-publish). If published metadata differs from
the supported saved page settings, escalate with page URL, intended wording,
actual result, and the exact screen used.
