# Read restaurant website activity

**Console: Marketing → Website → Analytics.** For the manager checking whether
guests use the live site. Analytics requires the relevant Sites Advanced access
and site analytics configuration.

Choose the period and inspect **Site visits**, daily page views, and **Guest
actions** such as primary links, phone, and directions. **Action rate**
describes actions per page view; it is not proof that every action completed a
booking, purchase, call, or visit.

A **~** and **Sampled estimate** identify a sample-based figure. Keep the period
and estimate label with any report you share. Use **Refresh** to request current
data, and compare equivalent periods rather than treating a changing period as
an improvement or decline.

If analytics is not switched on, the panel offers **Contact support**. If it is
unavailable, use **Refresh analytics** or retry later; the screen states that
the site and existing data are unaffected. A failed query is not zero visitors.
A new site's empty view may simply mean activity has not yet appeared.

Verify that the public site is live and the links guests use lead to it. The
analytics view describes aggregate activity, not individual guest profiles or
permission to trace people. Escalate with site, selected period, state/error,
and checks completed. Keep account details out of screenshots.
